Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about creating a memorial video and sharing it with the people who loved them.
Getting Started
What is a memorial video?
A memorial video is a short film that celebrates someone's life using their photos, narrated with their story, and set to music. It's shown at funerals, shared with family online, or kept as a lasting tribute.
How long does it take to create a memorial video?
Most memorial videos are ready within an hour. You upload photos, review the generated narration, choose music, and the video is assembled automatically. No appointments or waiting for a videographer.
Do I need any technical skills?
No. The guided wizard walks you through each step. Upload photos, fill in details about your loved one, and review the written tribute. You can edit every word before the video is created.
What photos work best?
Any clear photos of your loved one work well — portraits, candid moments, family gatherings, hobby shots. We apply gentle, cinematic motion to each photo. Both digital photos and scanned prints work.
Can I edit the narration script?
Yes. We generate a first draft from the details you provide, and you review and edit every word before the video is created. Nothing goes into the final video without your approval.
Pricing
How much does a memorial video cost?
Memorial videos start at $49 for the Remembrance tier (15 photos, 2-minute video, 30-day memorial page). The Celebration tier is $149 (40 photos, 5-minute video, permanent page with guestbook). The Legacy tier is $349 (unlimited photos, 10-minute video, voice clone narration).
How does this compare to funeral home tribute videos?
Funeral home tribute videos typically cost $200-$500 and require an in-person appointment. Forever Remembered starts at $49, can be completed from home in under an hour, and includes professional narration and a memorial page — features most funeral homes don't offer.
Is there a free trial?
You can go through the entire creation process — uploading photos, reviewing the narration, choosing music — before paying. You only pay when you're ready to publish the memorial page and download the video.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay through Stripe, our secure payment processor. Payment is a one-time charge — no subscriptions or recurring fees.
Can I get a refund?
If you're not satisfied with your memorial video, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we'll work with you to make it right or issue a refund.
The Video
What does the narration sound like?
The narration uses professional-quality voices with a measured, composed delivery appropriate for a tribute. You choose from multiple voice options and preview them before finalizing.
Can I choose the background music?
Yes. You select from curated music tracks in categories like reflective, uplifting, classical, gospel, and gentle. The Celebration and Legacy tiers include the full music library.
What format is the final video?
The memorial video is delivered as a downloadable MP4 file that plays on any device. It's also embedded on your memorial page for easy online sharing.
How long can the video be?
Video length depends on your tier: Remembrance allows up to 2 minutes, Celebration up to 5 minutes, and Legacy up to 10 minutes. Length is determined by the number of photos and narration.
Can I make changes after the video is created?
You review and approve the narration, voice, music, and scene order before the video is assembled. Once assembled, the video reflects your approved choices.
Memorial Page
What is a memorial page?
A memorial page is a permanent online space for your loved one. It includes the tribute video, their photos, biography, and a guestbook where friends and family can share memories.
How long does the memorial page stay online?
The Remembrance tier includes a 30-day memorial page. Celebration and Legacy tiers include a permanent memorial page that stays online indefinitely.
Can visitors leave messages?
Celebration and Legacy tiers include a guestbook. Visitors can share their own memories, which appear on the page after you approve them. You control what's published.
Is there a QR code for the funeral program?
Celebration and Legacy tiers include a QR code that links directly to the memorial page. You can add it to funeral programs, prayer cards, or any printed material so attendees can visit the page from their phone.

Are the photos I upload stored securely?
